Café Aid's business is supplying coffee and hot drinks machines to commercial business and the public sector. Offering a nationwide coverage for both rental sales and service support. Kenco are our selected partner supplier as this company reflects the same high standards and principles as Café Aid Ltd.
Café Aid Ltd is a wholly is owned subsidiary of AquAid (UK) Ltd, the parent company of the CoolerAid range of water cooler products. The original company formed in 1992, was and is still run by the Searle family who began by providing bottled water drinkers with a home delivery service. In 1994, they entered the water cooler market and in 1997 added mains filtered water coolers. The company has since grown to become one of the UK’s fastest expanding water cooler companies. In 2007 Café Aid Ltd was established shortly followed by the launch of CoolerAid.
As the group has expanded, each company has retained the original values and the personal approach of an independent, family-run business. With a network of 33 local distribution centres via a franchise network, they provide full nationwide coverage for sales and support throughout the UK. Whether someone wants a next-day delivery or maintenance support, the aim is to give a rapid response along with the complete reassurance of friendly, helpful and reliable customer care.
Furthermore, like CoolerAid, Café Aid brings much needed relief to some of the poorest children in the world. Since 1999, our long-standing commitment to the Lifeline Fund has helped to make a real difference to the lives of orphaned children and communities in Malawi, Africa. Thus the company has successfully preserved its core ethical principles while providing a highly competitive service.
Kenco Sustainable Coffee Programme
The new coffee is independently certified as being grown under sustainable conditions by the Rainforest Alliance, an independent, not-for-profit organisation that is an international leader in sustainable farming.
Rainforest Alliance standards help coffee farmers improve their farming practices - and so their incomes and quality of life - and protect the environment. On farms certified by the Rainforest Alliance, forests and wildlife are preserved, and farm workers are treated with respect and have access to clean water, medical care and education for them and their families.
By meeting standards of sustainability set by the Rainforest Alliance and monitored by local not-for-profit organisations, farmers can command a higher price in the market. Kraft Foods pays a premium based on the market price for certified coffee based on availability, quality and an appreciation of the beneficial way the coffee is grown.
